Belgium, at the center of Europe, has an excellent reputation concerning second-hand cars. Customers everywhere in Europe are purchasing their car here because of the excellent quality, the wide selection, the moderate price, the professional service and the absence of import and export hassles.
The Belgian and European legislation makes it quite easy to export a car to another country. Best Budget Car will take care of all necessary paperwork and export formalities. All documents will be provided to ensure a swift registration of your car in your country. These official Belgian documents include the registration card, the certificate of conformity and the documents from the technical inspection. Please contact us if you have additional questions regarding import and export.
Of course! A large part of our sales is still to Belgian customers; the only difference is that there is less paperwork to be done.
Payment for a car purchased at Best Budget Car can be done in several ways: in cash (either major European currency or US dollars), by Eurocheque, or by money wired into our bank account. Please contact us if you have additional questions regarding payment.
You either can drive the car yourself, using transit licence plates (valid for one month), or you can choose to have the car transported by truck or boat. Please contact us for more details.
Thanks to the European legislation, VAT should be paid if you are living in the European Union, and if you are bying the car as a private person. If you live outside of the European Union, or if your company as a corporate body with a VAT-number is buying the car, then there is no VAT to be paid.
Important: a used car is a car more than 6 months after date of first use and/or which has more than 6.000 km on the road.
If the car, obviously, was exported, there is no need to pay VAT.
